Wednesday, September 25, 2025 Hellooooo I hope you are having a wonderful day wherever you are in the world :)  Our friend Marco accepted the invite to be baptized on October 20th!!! He has really put in the spiritual work on his own to gain a testimony and it has been so cool to see his joy and peace grow since me and Sorella Taylor met him last transfer. Prayers for him!! After we set his baptismal date me and Sorella Riley were just soooo happy. It wasn't just like a bouncing off the walls type of happy, but a powerful joy that I know comes from being an instrument in the hands of the Lord to help gather Israel. It's amazing to see the promise in my mission call become a reality as my mission goes on: "Greater blessings and more joy than you have yet experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children."  Wednesday, September 18, 2024 Ciaoooo we made it another week!! Life is good and the work of the Lord moves forward as always! Real quick I want to tell you guys more about my good friend Antonello. I think I've mentioned him before but this guy never stops inspiring me. Oh first of all! Transfers came and went and I've got a new companion, Sorella Riley! So excited to be working with her! So a few days ago we had a video call with Antonello and Ania (a newly returned home missionary aka our queen spiritual beast bestie). It was probably the most spiritual lesson of. my. mission. Crazy how the Spirit will testify even over video call! A little bit into the video call Antonello began to tell us a lot of struggles he is dealing with, doubts, fears, concerns, etc. I caught myself as I listened, putting together sentences in Italian and planning out what to say in response.   Ciao alllll  Monday we had transfer calls. My bestie comp is going back to Rome and i'm kinda really so sad about it. But since she's leaving we got to go around Oristano and see all of our favorite people and it made my week so happy. The people here have my whole heart. They are so good.    Antonio went from smoking 3 packs a day to 3 cigarettes a day. He also loves orzo (coffee substitute) - WIN.    Antonello got a tour of the church by the Anziani in Cagliari. He texted us and said "I just got home, I am so tired but infinitely happy." He's having some concerns with tithing and the quote of the week comes from him when he said: "Sorelle, I'm not rich. I'm rich in my soul."  He's so pure.    We went to go visit the Mulas family for Sara's birthday! They have 5 little girls and it is the most chaotic and happy time being with them.  Wednesday, September 4, 2024 MIRACLE ALERT   Our friend Antonio smokes a lot. We're talking 3 packs a day. Amazing guy though. POV- we're sitting at a bar in Oristano (as always lol) for a lesson with Antonio, it's his birthday. We start talking with him and he casually goes "sorelle today's my birthday so I'm going to drink this coffee and smoke this cigarette... but after today I think I want to quit, it's so bad for you." We were like HOLD ON go back... huhhh?! We hadn't even planned to teach him the word of wisdom for 3 more days and he just had expressed the desire himSELF! lets GOOOOO. Update- we taught him the word of wisdom! He immediately gave up coffee and said he will work through the stop smoking program with us YAY!  I sat on the piano all weekend and absolutely loved it. Wednesday, 28 August, 2024 Ciao!  On Sunday Antonello surprised us by driving the hour and a half from his house in Ales to Oristano!! It's a huge sacrifice for him and so it meant so much. I'll never forget the moment he wheeled around the corner with the biggest smile on his face. There was a family from Germany visiting and it was so sweet to see their two sons bless and pass the sacrament for our tiny branch. It reminded me of my younger brothers and was like a little piece of home <3.  Sorella Taylor and Ania gave beautiful talks and I played "I am a child of God" on the piano.  Also Valeria (a less active member) came AGAIN for the 3rd time after 2 years!!! Another Sunday full of miracles.  On Tuesday Sorella Taylor hit ONE YEAR WAHOOOO! So grateful for that girl. Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Ciao a tutti:)  A couple people that made me happy this week...  Antonello- Says the sweetest prayers for us and our families and that we will have strength and not miss them too much. Always says "la NOSTRA chiesa" (OUR church) when he talks about the gospel.  Federico- Has learned how to receive personal revelation for himself and his life is about to change for the better.  Bonni and Aurora - the cutest mother/daughter duo who are so ready to receive the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. We went to visit them and cute 9 yr old Aurora pulled out her portable piano keyboard across our laps and showed me the songs she is learning. Then she wowed us on the violin too!!
