Ciao a tutti:) 
A couple people that made me happy this week... 

Antonello- Says the sweetest prayers for us and our families and that we will have strength and not miss them too much. Always says "la NOSTRA chiesa" (OUR church) when he talks about the gospel. 

Federico- Has learned how to receive personal revelation for himself and his life is about to change for the better. 

Bonni and Aurora - the cutest mother/daughter duo who are so ready to receive the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. We went to visit them and cute 9 yr old Aurora pulled out her portable piano keyboard across our laps and showed me the songs she is learning. Then she wowed us on the violin too!! The Spirit was so incredibly strong as I testified how knowing my purpose in life has changed me and that they can have that too. 

Random Giuseppe guy at English Course- dude pulls up in flip flops, long hair, and an aloha shirt and then chats with me about nutrition in Italy vs America and the travels he's been on. He kind of reminds me of Jack Johnson so that's sick. 

Ileana- the light of my life, she is so cool and went to India to follow the path of Mother Teresa. Also she wants to learn more about Jesus YAY. 

Sophia and Sara Mulas- we took our 2 sweet young women to girls camp this week!!!! (One evening haha) it was so, so fun. We drove up about 40 minutes into the mountains to a nice wooded park. Anziano Hanna and Brother Mulas grilled hamburgers and Sorella Taylor and I played soccer with the girls. The ball ended up in the pond at one point and after many attempts to get it with a stick I decided to put my chacos to good use, embrace the swan poop lol, and waded out and grabbed it haha. I'll never forget the girls' faces, shrieking and laughing as I jumped in hahah- anything to win those girl's hearts. Then we had dinner and did a little devotional. A moment I will never forget is singing "I am a Disciple of Christ" youth song in Italian with these 2 sweet young women. The Spirit was so strong to hear them share their testimonies through song and to feel of their sweet spirits. They're so special. 

My cutie spiritual beast bestie comp who God just knew I needed. 

Jesus- hehe betcha didn't see that one coming. He's the best and I love learning about Him and growing closer to Him each day. He loves you 🫵 don't you forget it.

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! It kind of feels like everything that could've gone wrong this first week went wrong lol, but Sorella Wall has showed so much patience and flexibility that inspires me.  There have been so many times where we could've given up and cried but we have both just chosen to laugh and it has made things so much happier. Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. More on them in a sec.  I absolutely love each of my 3 teachers!! 2 Sorelle e 1 Fratello. They all served in Italy and one of them is half Italian! Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly! If I can remember correctly she has... 2 donkeys, 2 emus, 30 chickens, 6 cats, 1 dog, 3 goats, 1 sardegnian sheep (!!), 4 para...
