⚠️MIRACLE ALERT⚠️ 

Our friend Antonio smokes a lot. We're talking 3 packs a day. Amazing guy though. POV- we're sitting at a bar in Oristano (as always lol) for a lesson with Antonio, it's his birthday. We start talking with him and he casually goes "sorelle today's my birthday so I'm going to drink this coffee and smoke this cigarette... but after today I think I want to quit, it's so bad for you." We were like HOLD ON go back... huhhh?! We hadn't even planned to teach him the word of wisdom for 3 more days and he just had expressed the desire himSELF! lets GOOOOO. Update- we taught him the word of wisdom! He immediately gave up coffee and said he will work through the stop smoking program with us YAY! 

I sat on the piano all weekend and absolutely loved it. Schedule of events included- zone conference, musical number, baptism, choir practice, stake conference, piano lesson for Ileana (<3), and spiritual thought at English course. Thank you mom for making me sit down at the piano when I was 8 and here's a plug to listen to your mom kids;).

Zone conference/Stake conference was so spirit-filled, unifying, powerful, and just HAPPY! I loved meeting so many members (their faith inspires me) and being around so many missionaries again! Highlights of the weekend included our friend Ileana thinking President Morris was the prophet (oops hahah she was fangirling so hard), listening to country music the whole drive there, and talking to Sorella Morris (queen). 

Last thing- I saw my first sheep this week! Soooo many of them haha. They were so cute, little white dots all along the green hill. It made me think how Jesus is often called the Good Shepherd. He will never stop searching for us. He knows each of us personally. Even if you feel like just ONE of those 4 million sheep (haha) and there's no way He knows you- think again. I promise He does. He cares, He's felt it, and He knows how to help you. I remember one stake conference at home a couple years ago when my stake president taught about reaching out to "the one" in our lives. Who is the one in your life that you can be Jesus' hands and love and lift today? Maybe it's even yourself! I'd invite you to ponder and pray about that. How can you be a shepherd like the Savior?

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly! If I can remember correctly she has... 2 donkeys, 2 emus, 30 chickens, 6 cats, 1 dog, 3 goats, 1 sardegnian sheep (!!), 4 para...
