Wednesday, 15 May 2024 JESUS LOVES YOU!!! don't forget it. Okay now for the week!!! Last week during our family home evening President was giving his weekly pep talk (I live for these) and starts talking about how Elder Brent H Nielson from the presidency of the seventy is in Germany and then said that he wanted to stop by our mission AND THEN SAYS HE'S DECIDED TO BRING THE WHOLE MISSION TOGETHER IN ROME FOR A SPECIAL MISSION CONFERENCE!!!! So yeah! That's how I ended up in Rome this week. The conference was amazing. Sister Nielson and Elder Nielson focused on the redeeming power vs enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ which is such a cool concept; I suggest you look into it because we talked about it for 3 hours and I cannot fit it all on this email haha. He also talked about why bad things happen to good people which I want to touch on because pretty much every person I meet has this question and I have such a huge testimony of the answer. We

MIRACLES MONSEN AND MAY Wednesday, May 8, 2024 Wow. God is a God of miracles. I'm pretty sure that was the heading of every single one of my journal entries this week haha and oh man it is so true. IM HYPED AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO CAUSE ITS MIRACLE MAY! Also I finished my first transfer in the field wild. Staying here in Catania!! Okay so this week: Sorella Pike and I set a goal to find FIVE people. Might not sound like a ton to some people but for context last transfer they found two people... in the ENTIRE transfer lol. So five in one week was for sure an act of faith. We made plans to accomplish that goal and started praying for miracles AND LET ME TELL YOU THEY CAME!!!!! On Friday we decided to make a goal to find 3 people in one day. We had appointments with 2 ladies that went super well and we found them! Wednesday, May 1, 2024 First things first- "If we give our heart to God, if we love the Lord Jesus Christ, if we do the best we can to live the gospel, then tomorrow—and every other day—is ultimately going to be magnificent, even if we don’t always recognize it as such." -President Holland THIS IS SO TRUE and I testify of it! Life is so beautiful you guys. And with the gospel of Jesus Christ I have found an inward peace and happiness that is incomparable. This gospel is JOY. Jesus Christ is JOY. this life is JOYFUL! Trials are always going to come- they are critical for our self-improvement. But with the Savior on our side we can do hard things and we can find happiness despite and even IN the struggle. Wednesday, 24 April 2024 Happy Wednesday all! Some weeks are easier than others, and with all honesty: this one was on the tougher side. But this is the Lord's work and I feel His strength and your prayers every day! Thank you I've always had a strong testimony that God's hand is in the details of our lives but it is so cool to see it ever more present here in the mission field, in my life and the lives of others! Tender Mercies this week: 1) Colomba Bianca. There is an evangelical church next to our chapel (sometimes we have mix ups and our friends go there on accident whoops ) and in the basement of the church is my favorite pizza restaurant called Colomba Bianca!! The waitress is named Anna and she is so kind and loves talking to us. This week she asked us what our favorite Christian singers are and I said Lauren Daigle and she said no way I love her too!! We talked about our favorite songs by her and then she put on my favorite song "You Say"
