Wednesday, July 16: last/first zone conference :( :)

This week flew by. The bad news is that Thursday was my last zone conference (#depressed😭) but the good news is that it was Sorella Yardley's FIRST! Yay! haha this transfer has been so funny- tons of lasts and firsts at the same time. We did it with 3 zone's combined which was hype and, as expected, President and Sorella Walker did such an amazing job. One little miracle was that Sorella Smith, Sorella Davis, and Anziano Hinton were all there, and since we were all in the mtc together it was so fun ending together too. 

SIDE NOTE- Monica just texted me and she and Danilo were called as ward missionaries🥹🥹 their first calling!!!! so proud. 
ok back to it-Miracle of the week!! My companion and I were on the balcony watching the sunset and responding to people when I saw this person sitting on a bench at the park across the street from our apartment. The Spirit told me "go talk to her!!". I had a couple doubts but I asked my comp if we should go down to talk to her and she said "I'll go get my shoes!" (Love that greenie fire at 9pm🔥) As we approached the girl on the bench she was on the phone but when we asked her how she was she put her phone down and talked to us for the next 10 minutes or so! Her name is Olga, she just graduated from college, speaks perfect Italian and English, and loves Jesus! We shared 3 Nephi 11:10-12 with her and she loved it. THANK YOU PROMPTINGS OF THE HOLY GHOST and our new friend Olga. One thing I have learned on my mission- God is so ready and so willing to reveal things to us as we prepare ourselves to receive them. 

also my brother Spencer is a MISSIONARY ahh🥹😱 welcome to the greatest work ever. (&bless my mom's heart) Thanks to all who went to support him at his farewell!

Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly! 🎄☃️✨️ The holiday season ✨️☃️🎄

 Ohhhhh God is good.This week was stressful and humbling and found me on my knees 99% of the time and though it's hard, these have become some of my favorite weeks in the mission. President Nelson said it best: "The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or moving a mountain with faith." AMEN! I've seen this over and over again in my mission and saw it once again this week. Last week I recieved the assignment and opportunity to be an stl (sister training leader)! Adjusting has been a little overwhelming and also amazing at how the heavens have opened as I've turned to God in prayer and I've recieved revelation for my zone and the mission. All of the ZLs and STLs in the mission traveled to Rome for MLC (mission leadership conference) and it was so fun and powerful to be able to learn from so many amazing leaders and missionaries.
