Buongiorno my wonderful friends and family!

I officially arrived at the provo mtc and I will admit I missed these mountains! It's trippy being on this side of the fence after looking over it for so long haha but it's exciting. I've only been here two days but it does in fact feel like two weeks haha. Time is a crazy thing here in the mtc but it is wonderful! As soon as we crossed into the mtc I could immediately feel the Spirit and my brother even turned to me and said: "do you feel that?" Everyone is so kind and I love my Sorelle! Definitely giving girls camp vibes with all of us in the same room haha but it's a fun time! Everyone calls us "the Sistrict" instead of District or in Italiano, "Sistretto" hahaha. Being here is definitely an adjustment but there are moments that make it so so worth it all! Just have got to be patient and keep up the faith! Ci vuole il tempo: It takes time.
 
We got to go to the Provo temple today and do an Endowment session which was so special because it closes tomorrow for renovation!! So blessed and honored to see it one last time.

I love 2 Nephi 31:19, "for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly on the merits of him who is mighty to save." I've got a journey ahead of me but I know someday I will look back and be amazed at the miracles I will see and things I learn!

Something I learned about the character of Christ this week: He always turned OUTWARD when the natural man in us would turn INWARD. Think about that! How can you turn and reach out to those around you even when you want to turn inward?

Thank you so so so so so much for everyone who came to my farewell this weekend or watched or sent sweet messages!! It means the absolute world to me and you all blow me away- I am so blessed to have such beautiful incredible supportive people in my circle!!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. More on them in a sec.  I absolutely love each of my 3 teachers!! 2 Sorelle e 1 Fratello. They all served in Italy and one of them is half Italian! Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly!
