 Wednesday, May 7: my people

This week was so good. I got to hang out with a ton of my favorite people.  Monica&Danilo, the Felt family + the rest of the Pescara ward who came to do baptisms at the temple, the coppia Hartshorn (my day 1s) who just finished their mission in Catania🥲, Amanda&Diego from our ward who made us yummy breakfast, the Campbell family who loaded us up with american food including trader joes mint oreos (🤤🤤) and my girl Amali who joined me at the piano bench in the middle of sacrament meeting🥹. 


I will be forever grateful for my mission, if not for anything else, for the people that it brought me in contact with. I LOVE THEM!!!! My heart is so full.

I've probably shared this before but my mission scripture is Omni 1:26

26 And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved. 

Even though I chose this scripture before my mission even started it still means so much to me and I think about it so often. Giving my whole heart, mind and strength to the work of the Lord has blessed me in more ways than I think I'll ever know. 

Whether you're a full-time missionary or not, I invite you all to do the same!

 Ohhhhh God is good.This week was stressful and humbling and found me on my knees 99% of the time and though it's hard, these have become some of my favorite weeks in the mission. President Nelson said it best: "The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or moving a mountain with faith." AMEN! I've seen this over and over again in my mission and saw it once again this week. Last week I recieved the assignment and opportunity to be an stl (sister training leader)! Adjusting has been a little overwhelming and also amazing at how the heavens have opened as I've turned to God in prayer and I've recieved revelation for my zone and the mission. All of the ZLs and STLs in the mission traveled to Rome for MLC (mission leadership conference) and it was so fun and powerful to be able to learn from so many amazing leaders and missionaries.
