 Tuesday, April 8: trauma bonded🙈

So y'all thought that last week was crazy over in Roma 3... I think this one takes the cake haha. Starting off on Friday after our district council when a car going way over the limit caught our left fender and sent us spinning.😵‍💫 In all seriousness though, angels were 100% surrounding us and stopped us from crashing into all the parked cars on the side of the road. We all walked away from it with the normal aches and pains although Sorella Tzun did get a ride in the ambulance from a minor concussion but after the anziani gave her a blessing in the middle of the intersection she has recovered miraculously quickly. Definitely going to have a little ptsd from that one as the driver but we can add it to the list of fun mission stories.🤪 I'm pretty sure these sorelle and I are bonded for life and i'm honestly not mad about it lol.


thenn general conference at the vc!! So fun. We weren't able to watch all of the sessions but I will say that President Nelson's talk was a complete answer to prayer I highly recommend taking a peek at it- I'll drop the link: 
PLUS kenna and her family came for one of the sessions and wow I love those people. They brought me bagels and trader joe's peanut butter cups so i guess you could say my soul is healed.   

On sunday we went with the district to THE Alex & John's house!! If anyone is familiar with Roma 3 they know that dinner at their house means bomb peruvian food and dancing around the living room. 🕺🕺 Iconic. On a real note, their families inspire me so much. They live in very humble circumstances but the spirit and joy I felt in that house was incredible. 

thenn transfer calls! Sorella Gruwell is leaving me - actually tragic😭😭 thank goodness for the vc though cause I still get to see her🫠 I'll be staying in good ol' Roma 3 and receiving Sorella Fitzgerald from Mesa, Arizona woot woot!

 Ohhhhh God is good.This week was stressful and humbling and found me on my knees 99% of the time and though it's hard, these have become some of my favorite weeks in the mission. President Nelson said it best: "The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or moving a mountain with faith." AMEN! I've seen this over and over again in my mission and saw it once again this week. Last week I recieved the assignment and opportunity to be an stl (sister training leader)! Adjusting has been a little overwhelming and also amazing at how the heavens have opened as I've turned to God in prayer and I've recieved revelation for my zone and the mission. All of the ZLs and STLs in the mission traveled to Rome for MLC (mission leadership conference) and it was so fun and powerful to be able to learn from so many amazing leaders and missionaries. Wednesday, January 15: motherhood

   Wednesday, January 15: motherhood Ciaooo!  This week was awesome. There were so many times Sorella Briscoe and I felt full of joy and gratitude. Danilo and Monica are progressing so well and every lesson with them gets better and better as they learn and act on our invites. In one of the lessons this week Monica was sick and so Danilo just came. He said that it was actually a tender mercy for him to be able to come on his own and show God his personal commitment, even without Monica. We were able to focus on some of his concerns/questions and it was super powerful. That being said, it is so beautiful to watch them grow together. They've started saying prayers as a couple each night and as a family as well with their daughters. It's so cool to hear the effects they are seeing in their home and in their lives as they learn these beautiful simple truths of the gospel.
