 Wednesday, March 5: soooo i'm obsessed with the vc

 I LOVE ROME! I LOVE THE VC! I LOVE MY SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! 💝💝💝

My first week in Rome was actually a dream. I'm so full of gratitude to be serving here. The Visitors Center is chock-full of symbolism, stories, and things to learn. I think my favorite part of it all though is that it all points to Jesus Christ. My favorite room in the whole VC is the Christus room. Sorella Gruwell and I have been sitting in there for our companionship studies and practicing/reciting "The Living Christ" by memory and it's been so powerful. I know Christ lives!! 

I love meeting all the people that come to the VC from all over. I've already met some of the coolest people and seen people I know!! (shoutout to Sister Wright<3) It's so cool seeing people's faces and reactions as they walk around the VC and learn more about the life of Jesus Christ and the temple. There is such a special spirit there. I don't think I'll ever get over it. 

Also this week we had MLC!! It always blows me away being in a room full of 30ish missionaries in their 20s and the way God speaks through each one as we unite together and counsel on the best way to lead the mission. God has big plans for the Rome Italy mission this year and I'm so excited to be a part of it!! 

I loved these verses from John 15 this week: 
"10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly!
