Wednesday, January 29: ☀️ la gioia di Gesù Cristo ☀️

Helloooo lovely people! Can I share one of my new favorite scriptures with you all?

Helaman 3:35
"35 Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God."

YIELD YOUR HEART TO GOD! I testify of the joy and the consolation this has brought me. Consecrate yourself and give it all to Him.

"Men and women who turn their lives over to God will discover that He can make a lot more out of their lives than they can. He will deepen their joys, expand their vision, quicken their minds, strengthen their muscles, lift their spirits, multiply their blessings, increase their opportunities, comfort their souls, raise up friends, and pour out peace." -Ezra Taft Benson

Jesus Christ is joy. Invite Him into your life and I promise you will find joy.

Quick update! Danilo and Monica are doing so good! Their baptism was moved to the 15th of February so please pray for them that day! We had the opportunity to teach them the word of wisdom as well as tithing this week and I was so inspired by their responses as I watched this couple more fully give their hearts to God. They are amazing examples of putting God first, even letting go of habits such as drinking coffee and smoking. After I asked Monica what she thought of tithing she simply asked "How do I pay it?" It reminded me of the Felt family, an American family that live here in Pescara. Their family motto is "how high?" When the Lord asks them to jump, they don't ask why or when they simply say "how high Lord?"

I love you all! Make today a great day☀️
