 Wednesday, February 12: ONE YEAR

We made it!!! A whole 12 months!!! What have I learned after one year of being a full-time representative of Jesus Christ? 


I have increased my understanding of God's love. 

"When we look at our lives and see a hundred things to do, we feel overwhelmed. When we see one thing- loving and serving God and His children, in a hundred different ways- then we can work on those things with joy... This is how we offer our whole souls- by sacrificing anything that's holding us back and consecrating the rest to the Lord and His purposes." -Dieter F. Uchtdorf

The other day my mission president said "If you want to feel more joy in this work, increase your capacity to love." 

God is love. Jesus Christ is love. Everything He did was out of love for His Father and love for us. As we do the same in our lives, we will feel more of His joy and increase in our capacity to serve His children. I am so grateful for this year. It has changed me and I love this work. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the opportunity to follow His example in loving and serving those around me in this capacity. 

Thank goodness there's lots more work to do! :) 
I love you all! Thank you so much for all of your love, prayers, and support over the past year. You guys are the best <3

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. More on them in a sec.  I absolutely love each of my 3 teachers!! 2 Sorelle e 1 Fratello. They all served in Italy and one of them is half Italian! Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly! If I can remember correctly she has... 2 donkeys, 2 emus, 30 chickens, 6 cats, 1 dog, 3 goats, 1 sardegnian sheep (!!), 4 para...
