CIAO!! 
The first week of training has been overall good!! My new comp is named Sorella Hydrick from Texas and I love her to death she is such a fireball. She's already done 2 transfers in North Dakota while waiting for her visa and brings lots of new ideas and experience! Plus she's my 4th companion from the vistors center... put me in there Pres I'm ready🙋🏼‍♀️ 
One challenge of training is the jetlag- I don't think I've ever seen someone sleep so much in so many different places hahaha. On the kitchen floor, at cafè's, in the visitors center, in the temple baptistry, I could go on haha...poor girl. But I've been so proud of her for the way she's adjusting and am super grateful for her energy and humor.

We started off Sorella Hydrick's time here in Italy off strong by going to the TEMPLE!!! My favorite place on earth. I missed it after almost a year of not going and it was an amazing experience to go with the ward and 2 new converts- Alessio and Lambert. It was sooo cool to be able to see Alessio all the way from finding him to going to the temple. So so grateful. 
Lambert brought the names of his mom and dad and I had the special opportunity to do the proxy baptism for his mom. It was his first time baptizing anyone and so it took a few tries and explanations but once he understood it was so worth it. Lambert is from Cote D'Ivoire and speaks French so he did it all in French and it was so beautiful. I'll never forget the purity and the love I felt as I came out of the water. 


This is what this work is all about. Helping individuals enter the covenant path leading to uniting families for eternity. 
Lambert gave me a huge hug and had the biggest smile the rest of the trip. I will never forget that day. 
 
Vi voglio bene! Keep your head up! With God all things are possible.

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly!
