🎄☃️✨️ The holiday season ✨️☃️🎄

 Ohhhhh God is good.This week was stressful and humbling and found me on my knees 99% of the time and though it's hard, these have become some of my favorite weeks in the mission. President Nelson said it best: "The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or moving a mountain with faith." AMEN! I've seen this over and over again in my mission and saw it once again this week. Last week I recieved the assignment and opportunity to be an stl (sister training leader)! Adjusting has been a little overwhelming and also amazing at how the heavens have opened as I've turned to God in prayer and I've recieved revelation for my zone and the mission. All of the ZLs and STLs in the mission traveled to Rome for MLC (mission leadership conference) and it was so fun and powerful to be able to learn from so many amazing leaders and missionaries. (And see some of my besties:)) 


This is one of my favorite quotes from the week: "To be effective Church leaders, we must learn this critical lesson: leadership in the Church is not so much about directing others as it is about our willingness to be directed by God." Sorella Davis (shoutout tvb bella) and I were talking about this a couple weeks ago and came to the conclusion that one of the most important qualities in a good leader is humility. This is huge! The humility to be corrected, the humility to repent daily, the humility to ask God for help, the humility to be directed by the Spirit, the list goes on. 

We saw a cool miracle yesterday! We were waiting for the bus to go back from Rome to Pescara when a younger guy sitting next to us said "Viva Gesù!" Haha we said "Viva Gesù!" back and he came over to talk to us. His name is Marcello and he said lately he has been feeling something inside of him to learn about Jesus Christ. He's started reading the 4 gospels in the Bible and talked about how he believes there are other books of scripture about Jesus in the world too. "Well..." we said, "have you ever heard of the Book of Mormon?" We taught a 20 min lesson on the Book of Mormon and Jesus Christ right there and sent the Napoli anziani to bring him his own copy! Miracle! 

I love you all! 2 weeks till Christmas!!!!

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly!
