Life is good when you're doing the work of the Lord. Never easy, but always good.
There
were so many tender mercies this week and ways I saw God's hand in my
life! I wish I could tell you them all but here's a few:
-God healed our friend Matelda's dogs so that she could come to church. She said "I knew it was because of your prayers!"
-Our new friend Gala, who moved here from Colombia 3 days ago, knew the missionaries in the past, and loves Jesus!!
-Having the gift of tongues to translate in sacrament meeting for the first time!
-An angel of a member asking me how I was and then hugging me while I cried to her after a hard day

-Playing piano and chatting with our neighbor's grandsons (reminded me of my younger brothers)
-Cinzia, a nonna we met on the street who told us "I hope you have a splendid life, the best life in the world!"
-A lesson with Nora, a 10 year old recent convert who became my best friend and basically taught us the lesson about the Gospel of Jesus Christ haha.
-My
companion's amazing talent of painting! We went to Centro this week,
she painted a picture of Jesus and we talked to everyone that stopped to
watch. It was so fun!
What was one way you saw God's hand in your week? Let me know:)
On Monday I turned 20!!
Thank you to everyone who reached out and made me feel so so loved.
I have the best people behind me and I love you all! God painted the
sky pink for our morning run, we ate lunch with friends, and ended the
day with a pan of brownies. Overall a wonderful birthday:)

Today
Brother Felt and Olivia drove us and the anziani up to Mt. Maiella!!
The fall leaves and views were stunningggg. Being in the mountains
healed my soul haha and fufilled all my fall/Evermore dreams (shoutout
to you if you get the reference;)). Then we went and visited a World War
II cemetery of Commonwealth (Allied) troops that had died in a battle
in a valley below the cemetery. It was so beautiful and the Spirit there
was so strong. It was humbling seeing all the headstones of people my
age and thinking about their sacrifice.

And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this
is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives! 23
For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice
bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Fatherβ 24 That by
him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and
the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
I
add my testimony to that of the prophet Joseph Smith. My faith was
challenged in some ways this week. But I know that Jesus Christ lived. I
know He died. And I know that He lives today on the right hand of God. I
know that it is only in and through Him and His Atonement that we can
also live again someday. He is my Savior.
