Wednesday, November 20: i love november 🍂   Life is good when you're doing the work of the Lord. Never easy, but always good.  There were so many tender mercies this week and ways I saw God's hand in my life! I wish I could tell you them all but here's a few:  -God healed our friend Matelda's dogs so that she could come to church. She said "I knew it was because of your prayers!"  -Our new friend Gala, who moved here from Colombia 3 days ago, knew the missionaries in the past, and loves Jesus!!  -Having the gift of tongues to translate in sacrament meeting for the first time!  -An angel of a member asking me how I was and then hugging me while I cried to her after a hard day   -Playing piano and chatting with our neighbor's grandsons (reminded me of my younger brothers)  -Cinzia, a nonna we met on the street who told us "I hope you have a splendid life, the best life in the world!"  -A lesson with Nora, a 10 year old recent convert w...

Wednesday, November 13: Charity is transformative

Wednesday, November 13:  Charity is transformative   I'm halfway done with my mission. WHAT?!?!? craziness. Let's start off with one of my favorite quotes from President Nelson!  "The best is yet to come for those who spend their lives building up others."  Charity is the pure love of Christ. Charity defines a peacemaker. Charity is the answer to the contention in this world. It chases away pride- the source of that contention. And it allows us to stand as witnesses of God at all times- especially in tense situations! As we humble ourselves and pray to God with all the energy of our hearts, he will give us this gift! President Nelson has promised that as we seek for and demonstrate the gift of charity, "the Lord will magnify your efforts beyond your loftiest imagination." I invite everyone to ponder on how we can increase our charity <3 We had a HUGE miracle this week. Our friend Alessio accepted the commitment to be baptized on December 1st!...

Wednesday, November 6, 2024: Un Apostolo del Signore HELLO!  i have so much to tell you guys i am so excited!!!    First of all- I moved! It was so sad to leave Oristano and Sorella Riley- that island has a special place in my heart forever. I flew to the mainland and took a bus from Rome alllll the way over to the Adriatic coast, to my new city Pescara! I love it here!! In Pescara you don't have to choose whether you like the beach or mountains better haha- they're both right there! We are a 10 minute run from the beach (already got that route down :)) and we also get to take the train through the mountains pretty often to visit friends or members in other towns in our area! Almost the whole city of Pescara got destroyed in world war two and so everything is super modern and nice, built pretty recently. My new companion Sorella Briscoe is so sweet and has a passion for Italian grammar that has already blessed me so much haha. Plus she is an amazing artist (p...
