I FINISHED TRAINING!!! WAHOOOOO 
 
I will be staying in Catania for another transfer with Sorella Wall from the Visitor's Center! Sorella Pike is going up north with Sorella Köcher, my MTC comp! Bittersweet and fun times! I'm happy to be staying in Catania and excited to see what the Lord has in store for us this transfer! 

Today we went to Taormina - literally drop dead gorgeous (if you ever have a chance to go in your life- TAKE IT.) and it felt like an actual family vacation with the Hartshorns (senior couple) and all the anziani (elders) haha. So, so fun. I'm going to miss this district, we have had some good laughs and good times together. So grateful for all of the amazing people I get to serve around! 

In honor of my trainer Sorella Pike, I'd like to share her favorite scripture:
Mosiah 2:41 And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.

I know this!! The Book of Mormon is so goood, it's so full of truth. Read the Book of Mormon this week, ok? 

Okay that's it for this week, so sorry it's short but we've got some packing and cleaning and helping people come unto Jesus Christ to do!!! 🫶💫🎉

Also we just met a lady on the bus named Maria. She asked for our number and pictures with us and of our tags (?!?) #1 fan right here haha. Also a guy at a cafe gave us these little pastries for free just cause.🥹 I love little tender mercies from God.

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. More on them in a sec.  I absolutely love each of my 3 teachers!! 2 Sorelle e 1 Fratello. They all served in Italy and one of them is half Italian! Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly!
