Wednesday, May 29: La Casa del Signore💫
Buongiorno a tutti!
This
week I saw a couple ballroom dancing on the street, a man walking his
cat, and a baby on the back of a vespa ... all in the same night.
Well I guess that's Italy for ya hahaha.

Story + miracle time!!!
Last weekend I got to travel to Rome with my dear Sorella Davis for visa things (
SO
much fun-literally a dream as you can imagine) and spend a day at the
visitor center which was absolutely incredible. Sorella Davis and I were
doing a companionship study outside the temple when a lady named Rina
came up to us and asked how to get to the Visitor center! She is from
Siracusa (a city an hour away from Catania
)
and has a friend who is a member and she told her to go to the temple
during her trip to Rome! We chatted and walked with her to the VC.
Another Sorella and us took her on a tour of the visitor center. At one
point Rina began to cry and we asked her what she was feeling. She said
"I don't know what this feeling is but I've only felt it 3 other times
in my life... when I knew something was true." (
)
It was a beautiful moment. We exchanged numbers and answered more of
her questions and found out she already has a BOM from sorelle she met
in 2016! Another Sorella and I walked her out to the back of the temple
to show her the way to Ikea across the street (she is a fellow Ikea
lover
).
As we said our goodbyes I felt the Spirit so strong prompt me to bear
my testimony. I testified of Jesus Christ's love for her and how I could
feel it for her. I pointed to the words on the temple and testified
that it is la casa del Signore. She again began to cry and gave us the
biggest hugs, saying she could feel the love of Jesus too. She said she
hopes to meet us again and talk more!!! The Spirit was so strong. I felt
such a powerful love of the Savior for this woman. I know she could
feel the Spirit of being on the temple grounds. I was so grateful to be
there to meet Rina and play even a small part in her journey. What a
miracle.

Missions are
humbling and I'm going to be completely transparent here, there were
days this week that found me crying on my knees. I've cried to my
Heavenly Father for strength- and He has heard me. In those weak
moments, I have found the strength of Jesus Christ. And He has carried
me.
Not everyday has been completely joyful; but it has been a beautiful and joyful process yoking myself to the Savior.
I
can testify that we have access to strength beyond our own. Patience
beyond our own. Love beyond our own. And it all comes from Jesus Christ.
I can testify that the answer is always love. Always. Charity, the pure
love of Christ, is the love that never faileth.
He loves you and He loves me. Pray to feel His love and strength and I know you will.
I love you!!!
