Hello hello hello!! 

Life is so beautiful with God in it. There are these little yellow flowers in my front yard. Every night when the sun goes away they close and every morning when we walk outside they are opened again! They are so cute and make me so happy every morning when we walk outside to all of them making the yard bright and cheerful. Little things like this are a way I see God's hand in my life! 

Francesca came to a relief society activity this week!! She is my favorite. At one point one of the sisters asked her how she met the Sorelle and as she told the story of how the Sorelle (a few months ago) stopped her in the street she started talking about how she feels this special feeling of peace and joy whenever she meets with us and how she could feel it right then- I am constantly amazed at how sensitive she is to the Spirit!! I am so excited to help her on her journey in developing her relationship with God! She also bought Sorella Pike and I matching bracelets 🥹🥹

Writing this from Rome (part 2!!) Sorella Davis and I got to take a girls trip and fly from Sicilia to Roma for a couple days to get visa stuff done! Don't know how things like this happen but I feel so blessed. Tonight driving to the sorelle's apartment down the freeway they suddenly said "there she is!!!!" And right there was the Rome Temple all lit up and shining- a beacon of light to the world 🤍

Not much more to say this week other than 
-God loves you
-Gelato is addicting 
-My first all you can eat sushi was a win and thank goodness for anziani (elders) who can EAT let me tell you hahaha (we ordered way too much lol) 
-I love being a missionary. Go on a mission. I promise it will change your life and only for the better.

SHE'S A RUNNER

  Hellooooo and happy summer everybody!    Things are starting to heat up down here in Sicilia, (quite literally-there was a huge fire the other day but tutto bene!) but me and my new companion, Sorella Wall, are ready to conquer the heat in our apartment with no AC!! hahaha we'll be fine... Also- SHE IS A RUNNER!!! Answer to prayers.  We've run every morning since being companions (down by the sea hehe) and my soul is slowly starting to heal.   Sorella Wall is a grinder of a runner and a grinder of a missionary! I don't think I've ever worked this hard in my life and also had this much fun while doing it! Saturday, February 17: SONO UNA MISSIONARIA?!?!

  Saturday, 17 February 2024 SORELLE E FRATELLI   First off- guys I love you. Thank you for being in my life, writing down your email, and going on this adventure with me!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL    Second off- some quick hitters: I finished my first week of missionary training online! My companion is from Germany!  Her name is Sorella Köcher. Still working on that pronunciation haha but she is AMAZING. Such a kind and genuine soul with an amazing testimony that is already so inspiring to me! She shares a love for Ikea and makes me laugh. I'm excited to learn and grow with her!  I am in a district with ALL Sorelle (Sisters). SO FUN. Slumber parties with 5 girls for 5 weeks? Sign me up  Haha I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. More on them in a sec.  I absolutely love each of my 3 teachers!! 2 Sorelle e 1 Fratello. They all served in Italy and one of them is half Italian! Wednesday, October 16 Hello!!  Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much.  Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly!
