Friday, March 1: Spend Time with the Lord ;)
Friday 1 March 2024
HELLO CIAO SALVE!
My
lovely people we made it another week! It's a great day to be a
missionary!!!! It is so hard and let's be real there have been times
I have really wanted to go home, but I have also been filled with such
joy this week! We have started to get into a good routine! (2 mile run
every morning, studies, classes, and prayers as a district every night
which has really made a difference in our unity!)
We
started our Italian immersion which means our teachers pretty much only
speak Italian to us besides to explain grammar or if we ask in Italian
what a word means haha.
My brain feels like it will explode sometimes but our teachers are THE BEST (seriously they make
class so fun and are so cool) and talk slow so we can understand. It's
crazy how much Italian I feel like I've learned in 4 days! Our first
fast from English is tomorrow! No english from 6am-6pm! There is a group
of Italian missionaries going to Italy coming next week so we get to
practice with them YAY! (They will be here for 3 weeks and then fly to
Italy with us- new besties!!!)

Highlights of the week:
-saw Sister Craig in the bathroom lol
-sorella
glen's auntie sent us GREAT HARVEST CINNAMON BREAD AHHH shoutout to all
my xc/track girls (I LOVE YOU ALL GOOD LUCK THIS SEASON

keep it up ladies) who remembers our runs to great harvest to get samples ;) ah good times

-Sorella
Kรถcher is obsessed with yellow school busses hahaha she said she's
wanted to see one her whole life (in Germany the kids just ride the
normal bus to school) and when one drove by for the first time she freaked out

-Sorella Glen taught us Australian handball! (Kind of like 4 square but wayyy more intense)
-sung in the devotional choir!
-got to go to the Mt. Timpanogos temple today!! favorite place ever. GO TO THE TEMPLE
One
thing our teacher Sorella Tuninei always tells us is "be a TED not a
TING" Be interesTED in other people, instead of trying to be
interesTING! Such a great life lesson to be learned!
Alright
one more thing lets talk hope folks. Not just hope that is fleeting but
hope that lasts. A few sentences I loved from preach my gospel this
week are: "Hope is not simply wishful thinking. Instead it is an abiding
confidence, grounded in your faith in Christ... Your ultimate source of
hope is Jesus Christ... Hope in Christ provides an anchor for your
soul."
Keep smiling and remember who you are! (A child of God:) He loves you!!)
I'm going to Italy THIS MONTH!!!
Love, Sorella McCune
