Wednesday, October 16 Hello!! Okay I've got 2 stories for you to show why I just love this place and these people and this work so stinking much. Number 1! A couple weeks ago Sorella Riley found a lady named Stacey on Facebook! She is from Pennsylvania but married a man from Oristano and has lived here with her son for 7 years. She grew up going to young women activities and church with her friend who is a member and asked if we could bring her a new copy of the Book of Mormon because she lost hers. Say less!! We drove the 15 minutes into the countryside and looked for her gate on a street with no name haha, literally in the middle of nowhere. She welcomed us into her home/farm with open arms and made us feel so at home and appreciated! It was so cool seeing her animals that all just roam around her yard together, they're all so friendly! Ohhhhh God is good.This week was stressful and humbling and found me on my knees 99% of the time and though it's hard, these have become some of my favorite weeks in the mission. President Nelson said it best: "The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or moving a mountain with faith." AMEN! I've seen this over and over again in my mission and saw it once again this week. Last week I recieved the assignment and opportunity to be an stl (sister training leader)! Adjusting has been a little overwhelming and also amazing at how the heavens have opened as I've turned to God in prayer and I've recieved revelation for my zone and the mission. All of the ZLs and STLs in the mission traveled to Rome for MLC (mission leadership conference) and it was so fun and powerful to be able to learn from so many amazing leaders and missionaries.
